ABOUT Noah's Ark

Noah's Ark Children's Hospice is a charity set up in 1999 whose aim is to establish a children's hospice service for children with life-limiting conditions living in the communities of North London and South Hertfordshire.

A children's hospice is not a place where terminally ill children just go to die - it is a place for living, giving support to the child and their families during their difficult days. It isn't a dull, morbid environment - they are bright places with sensory rooms, craft activities and an array of toys to keep the children, and their siblings, amused for hours. Ultimately, it's a place that makes everyone who goes there feel better.

Either within the child's own home, or a purpose built hospice, trained careers can give medical or emotional support to the child and his or her family, free of charge. Along with 24 hour practical support and guidance, respite care is an essential part of this service. We are committed to working with families from all faiths, cultures and ethnic backgrounds and fully respect the importance of religious customs and cultural needs that are essential to the daily lives of each family.

However, with almost no financial backing from Government, Children's Hospices must raise all the money themselves to build and run these essential lifelines.

That's why we need your support, through GiveSure you can help us make a difference.
